MÜL
Exhibited on Tech Art Fair at the Ontario Science Centre, 2018, February 17 – 19, 2018
A second-year school project collaborated with Priscilla Lee, Winnie Chen and Seunghwa Koo, 2017
About MÜL
MÜL is the pronunciation of "water" in Korean. The purpose of MÜL is to help destigmatize the kids with chronic diseases or who need to take medication regularly.
There is a pill dispenser hidden in the water bottle and reward system to transfer the process of taking pills into motivation for the kids.
how MÜL works
Our core user group is children with chronic diseases or who might need long-term medication intakes.
We are aiming at destigmatizing in the school environment, but at the same time helping the user to build up the routine with a reward system.
Our solution incorporates a hidden medical dispenser, a LED screen for the reward system and a smartphone connection.
MÜL
We designed multiple colour schemes for MÜL, so it can cover more user's demands and help them to express themselves through each unique colour theme.

Challenges
The first challenge we faced was the time frame since this was a 3-week school project. We had to rush through most of the research phase and prototype refining.
The second, also the most challenging part of the project, as we didn't have mature skills to achieve our ideal outcomes as it was a second-year course, and our design goal involved more aspects we weren't familiar with back then.
